首先，词汇的呈现，并不是老师告诉学生的，
First of all, the presentation of vocabulary is not what the teacher tells the students,
而是学生在教师的引导下，通过图片认识去发现、
However, under the guidance of teachers, students can find out the truth through pictures
去找到这个将要学习的单词。比如说，教师首先给了学生两组图片，
To find the word to be learned. For example, the teacher first gave the students two groups of pictures,

让学生通过相互问问题来找出两张图片的不同。
Ask students to ask each other questions to find out the difference between the two pictures.
而这些不同的地方就是今天将要学习的新单词。
And the differences are the new words we’re going to learn today.
在学习词汇的过程中，不仅仅只有在进行读和写的训练。
In the process of learning vocabulary, not only reading and writing training.
课本中有一首小儿歌，将所学的单词串起来。
There is a children’s song in the textbook, which string the words together.
但是如果第一步就让学生跟着念，未免也太难了吧。
But if the first step is for students to follow, it’s too difficult.
所以我们的老师会分成以下几步来完成。
So our teacher will be divided into the following steps to complete.
首先，让孩子跟着儿歌的节奏打节拍。
First of all, let the children follow the rhythm of children’s songs.
其次，再让孩子把儿歌中圈出今天学的新单词。
Secondly, let the children circle the new words in the children’s songs.
然后将儿歌分为几块，每一小组的学生跟读一部分，最后才让所有学生读唱整首儿歌。
Then divide the children’s song into several parts, and each group of students read part of it. Finally, let all the students read and sing the whole children’s song.
整个过程，从听、说、读、写四个方面学习单词，并且从易到难，这样的学单词，你还会觉得学单词无聊吗？
The whole process, from listening, speaking, reading, writing four aspects of learning words, and from easy to difficult, such learning words, do you still feel bored learning words?

教学重在培养思维能力
The focus of teaching is to cultivate thinking ability

Students can not only learn more about a wide range of knowledge,
更重要的是培养了他们的思维能力。
What’s more important is to cultivate their thinking ability.
比如说，教师可以展示一个故事前面的部分，
For example, a teacher can show the front part of a story,
而学生需要根据前面了解到的信息对结果进行猜测，去预测故事的结尾。
And students need to guess the result according to the information they learned before, to predict the end of the story.
除此之外，super minds同时也能学到故事中积极正面的社会价值观。
In addition, super minds can also learn the positive social values in the story.
每一个故事的背后，都会蕴藏着一个道理。
Behind every story, there is a truth.
因此，在了解故事内容后，教师会组织学生进行讨论
Therefore, after understanding the content of the story, the teacher will organize the students to have a discussion
，让学生去思考从故事中得到的启发，去思考以后又应该怎样去做。
Let the students think about the inspiration from the story and how to do it later.

Warm-up Aim: to present and practise greetings and introductions
热身目的：提出并练习问候和介绍
· Say Hello! Students repeat several times.
·打个招呼！学生们重复几次。
Whisper Hello! Students repeat. Sing Hello! Students repeat.·
小声说你好！学生们重复。唱你好！学生们重复·
Show a soft toy and say I’m (name).
展示一个软玩具，说我是（名字）。
Repeat several times. Pass the toy to a student and ask What’s your name?
重复几次。把玩具递给学生，问你叫什么名字？
The student says his/her name or I’m(name).
学生说出自己的名字或我的名字。
Say Hello,(name). Students repeat.· Practise What’s your name? with the class.
打个招呼，（名字）。学生重复。·练习你叫什么名字？和全班同学在一起。
· The student with the toy passes it to another student, saying What’s your name?
·拿着玩具的学生递给另一个学生，说你叫什么名字？
The next student says his/her name or I’m (name).
下一个学生说他/她的名字或者我是（名字）。
The rest of the students say Hello,(name).
其余的学生打招呼，（名字）。
Continue around the class.
继续上课。
· With a large class, divide the students into two or three groups once they have got the idea.
·在一个大班里，一旦学生有了想法，就把他们分成两到三组。
Students can point instead of passing a toy.

scissors, string or A3 paper, glue or sticky tape Note: Prepare four sample masks before the class.

Cut each mask out, including around the eyes,

and either use string or stick a strip of paper long enough to fit around your head onto the areas shown on the back of the mask.
