Perspectives is divided into four levels, which is suitable for senior high school English comprehensive skills learning materials. Perspectives enable learners to learn critical thinking and master the language skills of expressing themselves in English. Guide detailed language courses, real-world stories, and Ted speeches to promote learners’ creative thinking and effective communication skills

Ted speech promotes English learning
每个单元从不同的视角探讨某一话题，并引入一个相关的TED Talks视频，让学生在课堂中接触来自真实世界的顶尖英文素材，激发他们在用新颖的角度看待世界的同时，充分锻炼英语能力。
Each unit discusses a topic from a different perspective, and introduces a related Ted talks video, so that students can get access to top English materials from the real world in class, and inspire them to fully exercise their English ability while looking at the world from a new perspective.

TED Talks 提供真实的语言环境以培养学习者的听力技能（authentic listening skills），例如，理解语速较快的演讲、多人讨论、有口音的英语等。此外，每个单元以口语和写作练习结尾，学习者通过口头和书面形式的输出，对所学单元主题进行回应，全面提高沟通技巧，用英语自信地表达自我。
Ted talks provides a real language environment to develop learners’ listening skills, such as understanding fast speaking speeches, multi person discussions, accented English, etc. In addition, each unit ends with oral and writing exercises. Learners respond to the unit topics through oral and written output, improve communication skills and express themselves confidently in English.

课程内容
Course content
每单元分为以下5个课程模块（Lesson A~E）
Each unit is divided into the following five modules (lesson a ~ e)
Unit Opener & Lesson A：Vocabulary

每单元由国家地理高清图片和内容开启,并且每单元罗列五条清晰的学习目标，明确所学内容。词汇部分内容联系实际生活、多种形式教授单词、交流与主题相关的内容，表达不同的观点。
Each unit is opened by high-definition pictures and content of National Geographic, and each unit lists five clear learning objectives and contents. The part of vocabulary relates to the real life, teaches words in various forms, and communicates the content related to the theme to express different views.
Lesson A:Listening & Grammar

听力内容呈现大千世界，在语境中学到语法知识，在听力语境下进行实践练习。书后的语法讲解和练习进一步巩固语法知识，开放式互动讨论激发个性化语言。
Listening content presents a vast world, learning grammar knowledge in the context, practicing in the listening context. The grammar explanation and practice at the end of the book further consolidate grammar knowledge, and open interactive discussion stimulates personalized language.

Lesson B:Vocabulary Building,Reading camp; Critical Thinking

注重词汇量可以帮助学生了解词汇构成和搭配。常见阅读练习题型培养学生的思辩能力。辩证思维的重点在于培养学生评估信息所需要的技能和方法。
Paying attention to vocabulary size can help students understand the composition and collocation of vocabulary. Common reading exercises to cultivate students’ thinking ability. The key of dialectical thinking is to cultivate the skills and methods that students need to evaluate information.

Lesson C:Grammar 2
继续强化学生的语法能力，分析语法功能，理解语法的作用，使学生对语法有更深的理解。
Continue to strengthen students’ grammatical ability, analyze grammatical functions, understand the role of grammar, so that students have a deeper understanding of grammar.

Lesson D:Authentic Listening Skills & TED Talk

在真实语境下培养听力技巧，TED 演讲帮助学生保持开放的心态，启发他们从多元视角深入思考全球话题。
To develop listening skills in a real context, Ted lectures help students keep an open mind and inspire them to think deeply about global topics from multiple perspectives.

Lesson E:Speaking & Writing
功能语言（Useful language）和写作策略（Writing Strategy）对话框为学生完成口语和写作任务提供必要的支持，帮助他们自信地用英语表达观点。
Functional language and writing strategy dialog boxes provide necessary support for students to complete oral and writing tasks and help them express their views in English with confidence.
